Brenda Malley, Seasons of the Sea

Seasons of the Sea is a solo exhibition by Dublin artist Brenda Malley.

Brenda takes her inspiration from the rugged coastlines of the North West Atlantic coast of Ireland, interpreting the energies of the ocean through richly textured, gestural brushstrokes. Brenda portrays her seascapes with a distinctive style, enriching her representations with a unique energy and vitality.

Seasons of the Sea is a response to the wild natural elements captured along the Donegal and Mayo coasts. With each composition structured between sea, rocks and sky, Brenda seizes on canvas the raw elements and rugged beauty of Irelands most dramatic coastlines.

The exhibition opens on Thursday 23rd October with a reception 6-8pm and an introduction by guest speaker Brian Hogan BArch FRIAI RIBA.
